Today, I'm going to teach you how to draw the hair of a manga female, which is just as vital as the eyes. The hair is hard to master because you want to make it look realistic and make it flow smoothly, take note of the volume and how the hair is supposed to look like on the head,  not choppy and unrealistic. So, let's get started. First, I'm going to do this based on long, curved in hair. The hair will be down near the waist. You start from the basic body structure you made, and draw a curved line higher over it, a reasonable amount, not too close to the scalp, and not too far so it won't look abnormal. Then curve down from each side to create both sides of the parts of hair, add a little pressure, then more, and slowly release the pressure.

This makes the hair look smoother like it is in strands and this is also an ideal way of inking your image. Finish and connect by drawing the bottom parts of the hair and bank it back in near the neck for both parts of the hair. Next you do the bangs which will be side bangs and make a curved line on one side and finish it up, and end it three-fourths to the other side of the head and finish and connect the hair on the other sides making them separates (the hairline.) Lastly, make a few stray lines every now and then, and add and clean things up to make the image more realistic. Here is yet another guide line, and just focus on the long hair she has, but if you want to draw her, give it a shot!
